All the candidates who participated in the recruitment exercise are required to login to the Kenya Prisons Recruitment Portal and download the list of successful candidates in PDF file. Only those whose names appear there will proceed to the next phase.

After checking your name, KPS will release date, venue and center for final screening. Only those who made it at the final screening will be employed as constables, cadets or technicians.

Once the list is released, the names will be published on kps website as pdf, all the applicants will be able to login and download the list.
The list will contain all the names of successful candidates from the entire county. If you did not find your name in the list, it means you were not successful. You may consider applying again for Kenya Prisons Recruitment here.
How to Download Kenya Prisons Shortlisted Candidates PDF
- Log on to Kenya Prisons Recruitment portal at www.prisons.go.ke
- Locate the Job vacancy section and click on download shortlisted names pdf
- Download the list which is in PDF format.
- Save it in your phone or computer, and then open it with a pdf reader
- Once the file is open, check state by state for your name.

All the shortlisted candidates will be invited for screening, interview and examination to select the final best candidates for all the positions advertised.
